Nathaniel Rafael aka Nate

Oh my goodness!!! He arrived this morning about 10,45...we had to work hard all night for his arrival, but everything happened as we'd prayed it would - peace, at home, in water...in fact he was born still in the sac! Very rare apparently (1 in 80,000)! He was a whopping 9lb3.5oz!!!!!
Asha was part of his delivery & she was fantastic! Stroking my head & giving me water... Danny was a total rock & really in it all with me... And the midwives were pure gold...they arrived at 2am and didn't leave until 4pm!
Feeling absolutely cream crackered but elated, and wanted to give a slightly more intimate photo as a thankyou for caring & being part of this journey with us.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Safe delivery of Nate - his name means 'gift from God', and he is in SO many ways.
2) Getting everything we'd hoped & prayed for in Nate's delivery...everybody whispered the entire time & the room had such a feeling of peace.
3) Stephen & Jud dropping everything to come whisk Asha off for a playdate this afternoon...she was so excited she was bouncing off the ceiling...but her being out meant Danny, Nate & I could have an hour or 2 of kip - much needed!! 

Grateful to God for keeping us safe & being faithful to us...
