April Fools' Day?!

As productive as yesterday was, today was the complete opposite!

Woken at the crack of dawn (literally!) by neighbour and couldn’t get back to sleep. Walked to the post office this morning only to discover a sign saying “Closed due to unforeseen circumstances. Open from 12”. Headed home then back to the post office this afternoon. “Sorry love, won’t be open until 6 at the earliest”. Luckily I was able to get a lift, and at a third attempt, found a post office in a neighbouring village that was actually open!

So on a very sleepy day the only thing I’ve managed to achieve is to post a parcel. But on the positive side, I did get plenty of exercise on a sunny Spring day, and I did get to grab a blip of this magnificent Magnolia, passed on the first of my three trips to the post office. Are you sure it’s not April Fools' Day today?!
