Discretion is the better part of valour
I'm glad to say that Zoe did not jump down into the field below this wall. It's quite a long way down and there is barbed wire to clear. She was tempted.
She wants to see everything and follow every scent, but she has some common sense too.
We walked for 5 miles this afternoon, starting and ending in the village. She had a spell of walking much better on the lead, which is encouraging. It didn't last. Way to go!
As we walked on a quiet lane, there were fields with sheep and lambs. Zoe looked interested, but came away from the fences as soon as I called. What a clever girl.
Looking at this photo reminds me that the three human females in her household also have lovely dark curly hair!
I wrote a press release and worked on the final instructions for the walkers this morning. We've had a few more bookings and we are now into the final run up to the start of the festival.
