Bumblebee

I went out to take photos of the Pinxterbloom Azalea (rhododendron periclymenoides)  in the morning sun.  The extra is the sun behind the azaleas.  There were lots of bumblebees enjoying the azaleas.

I went into town and checked out the various bricks available for garden retaining walls.  Took pictures, note of prices etc and sent them to Kent.

While there I bought Kent a rose bush.  A David Austin.  Looks good and smells good.  I just have a hard time with these gorgeous hybrids that have no scent at all.

It was haircut day for me so it was the end of the day when I got home.

Spent the evening discussing the retaining wall bricks with Kent.  Of course the ones I like the best are the most expensive ones!  Decided what I was going to give up to get the better bricks and we agreed what we were going to do.  Yay.  So after the painting is done, the old landscape timbers get removed and the bricks get put down.

Of course the weather has decided to be stormy this week making painting a non-event.
