Fruits of my labour

The bulbs that I planted at the base of the mailbox post have come up nicely and are now beginning to bloom.  :-)

This weekend was "General Conference" for church and so there were telecast sessions from Salt Lake City.  There were many wonderful speakers and great talks but I think the favourite for me was by Pres Dieter F Uchtdorf and his analogy about the rebuilding of The Church of Our Lady, (Frauenkirche) Dresden, Germany.  This beautiful new building is marked with the black, burned & scarred bricks from the original building.  Instead of detracting from the beauty they enhance the beauty.  There is no life so shattered that it cannot be restored.
