A morning trip to the supermarket in Windermere. When I go alone I often combine it with a blip detour to the lake at Bowness. Today my husband came and he dragged marched me up to the top of Orrest Head and back.  By that time I was in need of a sit down and a coffee before the shop. 

Orrest Head is small compared with most hills in the Lakes but has great views in all directions ……. and lots of seats on which to sit and admire the scenery if you have time. Today’s weather wasn’t too good for landscape photos and I prefer this mono version to the original colour one.
