No wonder Postmen NOW need vans.

Back in the Hists of Mistory, when Ah waz a lad, I did Christmas Post. I could carry all the mail, for a 60 house estate in 1 or 2 bags and didn't even have the luxury of a bike to get me from P.O. to estate.
These days I'd guess at least 75% of what comes through the letter box is unsolicited.
Take today's lot for instance...
"Penrith" magazine - Unsolicited, but read.
The next seven were neither required nor read.
Of the next 3 … 
One was important, but unexpected.
One was a Dietary supplement catalogue.
AND FINALLY - One I actually ordered.
"Captain Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure" which I've known about for, literally, decades, but never needed/used.
