Soft pink

This tulip is one of a large bunch I have in a vase on the sideboard in the dining room.... treated myself as there were masses reduced post Mothers Day!!! I love its baby pink colour :-) bit cross with myself for cutting off the bottom petal, didnt realise until Id downloaded it...drat!

We have had a busy few days, hence my lack of blips, although I have tried to keep up with your journals.

Quiz on Thursday, really tough, a low winning score, even lower for us :-/ Friday we headed back to Congleton for a 60th birthday party, Saturday a walk during the day and off out for dinner at my ex boss and his wifes' lovely home in the Forest of Bowland, we had a lovely evening and didnt get to bed until 1.30am......then today we have been treated to lunch out by youngest son and his lovely wife, a delayed Mothers Day treat, which was rather lovely :-))

A quiet night in tonight.......:-)

Tomorrow I might be treating myself to a new lens all being well ......:-D
