Burns monument.....

A few April showers today. No one daft or brave enough to try any April fools tricks though !
Took a load of seed barley down the road this morning for the contractor to maybe make a start on the sowing .
Was dispatched to collect a take away for tea tonight. This monument to Robert Burns has recently been restored with funding from various sources and now stands in Dalkeith high street. I wonder how long it will last before it is vandalised or has a traffic cone on its top !
