Dogdog, cat and cushion

How she gets herself whenever she's having a snuggle on B's sofa. We arrived to find the previous lesson hadn't finished so we went into the lounge for a bit and she immediately made herself at home. Until she heard the previous lesson leaving when she ran and hid, as she often does at the start. She and B were very pleased to see each other.

It was a good day for a katie today. We had a fantastic practise this morning, she was brilliant and she wore her new dress to play her clarinet pieces. We drove to school as I can't cycle at the moment and we had left it a bit late for walking.

School was one long music day basically, it seems. Orchestra was in the morning and they've started learning new pieces ready for their summer showcase. At lunch time she had singing club which she always enjoys. Then after lunch they had their first rehearsal for the Little Big Sing and are doing two very funny songs with actions that make her giggle. There was a school disco after school but it started before the day had finished so the children not going, including katie and Bobbins, had some reading and chatting time. Her and Bobbins got to be together and when we picked them up they were dancing down the street and laughing together.

K&I walked to her piano lesson. It was the last one before Sunday's piano classes at the festival. B had her hubby come and adjudicate for katie as an audience that she was less confident with. Terry declared she had won both her classes! After the lesson katie laid down on the rug on her face. She announced that she was making "rug angels".

We got home and fed, changed & watered her before it was time to head to dance class. The class has definitely improved to how it was when she first started and she is liking it a lot more now. We arrived home around 8 but she still wanted to snuggle with her book before she went to sleep!
