Garibaldi Lake

A brilliant nights sleep in the chilly mountain air, followed by a hearty breakfast and a walk down to Garibaldi Lake. It's such a beautiful landscape, the glacial lake is freezing though and we didn't quite fancy a swim some how!

We made our way down the trail and must have walked about 13km today. We were delighted to reach the bottom it seemed a long way, especially carrying all the camping equipment. Andy's bag was 2l of wine lighter! We drove to Squamish and had a salmon burger sitting next to the river before enjoying enormous ice creams and a drive home. A brilliant weekend!
