Loch An Eilein

This loch is in Aviemore. Very high up. Last week it still had ice on the water.
After breakfast we did a bit of shopping before we took off to Aviemore. We didn't get there until midday. The weather had turned greyer from when we set out. Two swimmers said as soon as they got out of the car that they weren't going to swim. They were happy to watch me and another guy do our swim around the castle. Then the other guy said he wasn't swimming....so that left just me. To be honest the swim wasn't very appealing. The water around 5 degrees. We have to get kayaks down to the river. All the clothes changes....so I opted out too. We went for a walk instead. I've had a really good week and think I'm ready to start the sea swimming now.
