Greater Flamingo

Such a strange bird to look at in flight, this Greater Flamingo flew overhead in a big circle allowing me to photograph it at some very strange angles! The light was fading fast but after initially flying away from the lake near the beach at a place called Fins, it came back with two other Flamingo and they settled peacefully for a safe night on the edge of the water. I never fail to be impressed at their flying, they are so long and slightly unwieldy!
