Oil Seed Rape Flowers

This is the field across the road from us. It seems to have suddenly burst into life with the bright yellow blooms of the oil seed rape plants.
I had to have a HOOOOGE amount of work done to my teeth today. As we walked into his surgery (he always comes to reception to greet me) my dentist remarked "You're going to make me work hard now before the weekend."  I replied "Well, if you'd rather leave it............well, so would I."
After my shingles bout in my face and mouth I'm extremely nervous now about any dental work, but he was excellent. Actually, I only THINK he was excellent, because he always is. As I write,  both sides of my mouth are numb, and my lips feel so enormous that when I drank a cup of tea earlier, it all dribbled back out. Nice!
I hope I don't repeat that with my wine this evening. Just in case, I'd better stick to white (or wear a dark top).
