Cusworth Hall

Babysitting again today and another clear run to Doncaster - arrived just after 7:30.

We went out for a while to Cusworth Hall (near Doncaster) - it was cloudy / sunny / windy - but no rain so we had a good day. We walked all the way down to the lake twice (Jessica only walked down the hill once though) - she had a good romp around on the grass, running and walking for miles again! I had already clocked up my 10,000 steps by the time we left!

We went in the cafe for a sandwich and toasted teacake at lunch time.

Couldn’t decide on which shot to blip - but decided to go with the view of the hall from the lake - with the sun picking out the yellow stonework against the darker skies. The other candidate is in extras - an old barn / stable block which has got some lovely stone textures and a great assortment of doors windows and slits! Again caught it with the sunlight but this time shining through the trees behind me creating a slightly dappled look.

Off to collect our son’s dog on my way home - she is coming to stay for the weekend - yay!
