Abstract Thursday - Zip

A lovely sunny start to the day so we took our walk mid morning. The paths through the woods and fields were pretty boggy after the heavy rainfall over the past couple of days.

The police helicopter was busy overhead - it spent a long time hovering over the A1 area and then moved north towards Wetherby and then east over Boston Spa and finally headed south again. It appeared to be tracking or looking for something - however I know not what. It didn't really get close enough for a decent shot, but I do have a long range view of it!

Spotted these huge tractor tyre indentations in the mud at the side of the lane and thought the shadows made them look like a big zip in the ground.
