The Bar at Caiano

High in the Casentinese at 800m this is the bar at Caiano - winter population 30, summer population 700. Went practically door-to-door asking, 'Do you know of houses for sale in this area.' Finally found one that might tick enough of our expanding number of boxes. Going to meet the owners on Sunday.

As I rushed back to get The Boss to show her 'my find' - a good round-trip of over two hours - I sat in a traffic queue in Sieci in the Valdarno where the car thermometer hit the 30C mark. And the air conditioning is not working after all the money spent on it.
