Gervase

Babysitting today...and as it was Mrs madwill's day off she came down to play as well. A 30 minute drive actually took us 30 minutes...so we were there by 7:30!

Daughter arrived home at 9:30 .. she was over an hour late leaving work. So we transferred car seat and pushchair to my car and went out for the day. First stop Wentworth garden centre for a play, coffee and cake, followed by a walk around the gardens. Granddaughter walked miles with us! Then we went off to Elsecar Heritage Centre for lunch and another wander...

This little steam loco caught my eye, mainly for the K&ESR logo... I spent many a weekend volunteering at that preserved railway when I was at school, and this loco was operational there at the time. It has since been restored.

Dropped baby off at home around 3:30 and left at 4:30. Finlay was excited to see us back home and we went out for our walk.

Oven fish and chips for tea...I don't have the energy to walk to the fish and chip van.
