Wednesday: Downtown

I had to take the office car in for a minor problem and now have a very sleek Cadillac to drove round town for a few days.  The problem is it's very verbal............the automated voice keeps springing into action and when I don't respond, keeps saying 'Pardon?  I can't hear you.'  It's all rather surreal.  I'll be glad when I get my non-chatty car back.

Lunch at my French colleague's today.  Lovely views but the tiniest apartment in the world.  It makes me realise (even more) that we made the right decision when we opted not to live downtown.
