Thursday: Settling In

My day got off to a bit of a jittery start today when I had a phonecall at 0400 because a colleague hadn't realised there was a time difference between the UK and here.....

Well, someone is settling in well. After having been a bit standoffish in his first few weeks, Barney has become very relaxed and, up to a point, pretty affectionate. He's not a massive lap cat (yet!) but he likes to have a paw on you and lean against you. We've had a bit of laptime but it's not long lasting. Still, I think it'll come.
