Flowering Spirit

I picked these daffodils at my allotment last weekend.  They were in bud then but now are in full bloom.  I've been meaning to photograph some of the cherry blossom this week but I haven't managed it and now some of it is disappearing.  It is quite interesting as in the woods near here some cherry trees were cut down but the fallen branches, which are completely detached from anything are still in bloom - I assume the trees were felled after the buds formed and there must be enough energy andd water in the stems for them to stay alive.
