Seagull in Morning Light at Tod Inlet BC Canada

Today was one of those days when there was a perfect photo opportunity presented throughout the day....there were so many photos I liked, and how to choose the "one"?? Can you believe I settled on a seagull? I took this early in the morning, looking out from the dark side (shaded) of the boat, as a seagull landed in the sunshine on Tod Inlet. This is the beautiful little inlet very close to Buchart Gardens, and it is the home to so many interesting animals.

As the day progressed a tidal flurry of Moon Jellyfish flooded into the inlet...what fun to photograph!

Then we decided to head out to Sidney Spit, where we got to see my favorite little Purple Martins in their nesting boxes, and an amazing sunset! (oh, and there were more kingfisher, a blue heron...well, the list goes on! It was really a magical day)
