By the Clutha River

Today the 20 members of the walking group headed to Clyde, and we walked down the true right of the Clutha River towards Alexandra.  7 other members did a short walk in Wanaka, from Waterfall Creek.  We were very pleased when the sun came out, as the day started out with a cloud cover and drizzle.

We had our lunch by the river, then back to the cars (8 k's all up for me), and we stopped for a nice cuppa at a local Clyde Cafe.  The first extra is Blackberries - not quite ripe.  The second extra is in the courtyard of the local Clyde Cafe.  It was lovely and sunny.

My iphone is still isn't ready, I think I will loose all the data on it.  Oh well!!
