High and Dry

Well not quite dry, you see it was raining when I took this photo on my way to church this morning.  The amazing thing was that I was there 'ON MY OWN'!!  That doesn't happen very often these days.  Here is a link to Snowy's blip today, it's an article about our famous tree featured in a local newspaper. 

The hymn for today is 'Crown Him with Many Crowns', which we sang like a heavenly choir!!  I was invited out for lunch after church, which was a lovely way to meet other local people, and visitors to town.  The extras are the willow (high and dry), and looking through the branches to Mt Maude.  I didn't even get my feet wet!

Plan 'A' for our walk tomorrow is to head down to Alexandra, and walk from there to Clyde, a total of 12 k's.  As always weather permitting!
