Day at the Beach

Belmar Beach, New Jersey. The Shahs along with Anandmama, Pinkymami and all the kids head out with their mini vans filled with beach umbrellas, beach towels, frisbees, beach ball, books, sunglasses and the boogie boards! A hot hot day with cold cold water. Good looking beach with waves just the right strength to break surf on or boogie board as I learnt to do.

The kids lounged under umbrellas making drawings in the sand, reading a book under the shade of the umbrella or perfecting card tricks. The adults (me included) frolicked in the chilled waters, riding the waves, looking for lost sunglasses (Viraj Uncle's!) and getting tanned as a groundnut.
