A morning of online Aptis testing, then prepared my teaching practice points for the rest of the week: for each lesson our trainees teach in the first two weeks we give them quite detailed teaching points, which are bullet points of the stages and steps to follow. So this week, I observe and grade 10 lessons, so 10 lots of tp points. All done and dusted - that makes the week much easier! Then Bb and I went for a week round the local streets of Dokki - the area where our flat is. It's a very Egyptian area, rather than one frequented by foreigners, like Zamalek or Maadi. Taxi then to Seagull's fish restaurant on the Nile at the Dokki end, so not too far away. For the first time we actually had Italian food there as, although they don't publicize it, we know you can order from the Italian restaurant's menu, which is on the floor above. Spaghetti bolognese for me and penne arabiatta for Bb. Quite tasty. A very early start tomorrow!
