At last!

I have been trying to get some photos of the Spoonbill birds for a while now. They are down in the estuary and everytime I have seen them I haven't had my camera with me!
At last, this morning they were there and I had my camera in the car. There were five of them feeding in the low tide shallow, right up close to the car park . I could have watched them for hours, they are quite methodical in their feeding  process, scooping things up out of the muddy water in their big flat bills.
The light wasn't the best but I got some ok shots.
