This is a favourite neighbourhood tree. The developers who will pull old Ruth's house down from behind us and build 3 town houses don't know how many times it has been used as a hiding place on the journey home from school, how many laughs and dreams it has shared or just how beautiful it's shade can be on a hot afternoon. It is time to take and keep the memories before it is, yet again, too late.
