Lost souls at the List Trades Fair

We travelled to Kyneton to visit the Lost Trades Fair. It was an amazing gathering of people all sharing their passion for various old and often forgotten skills and trades. We saw foot powered lathes making spurtles, calligraphers, organ grinders, lock makers, knife makers, even small boys making fishing lures. Also printers, book binders and wood benders, violin makers and belt makers.....And especially good advice for A about ways to best get into furniture making. A busy but very interesting day. No wonder they needed a rest.
