Bienvenidos

We spent the day recovering in San Jose which, to be honest, is not the most prepossessing city we've ever visited. Once we'd seen the market and the main plaza and, given that we're not ones for museums generally, skipped the gold and jade museums, we were grateful that there was a fiesta taking place inthe string of parks outside our hotel, with lots of live music, craft stalls and street entertainers.

This salsa band were the Saturday morning ice breakers and, as you can see, they soon had their audience of all ages dancing a rythmical, joyous and colourful salsa.

By the afternoon we were glad to relax in and by the hotel pool.
