Luke's 21st birthday

Well done to the clever clogs amongst you who worked out it was Luke's 21st birthday today! Yes indeed, 21 years ago I waddled off to hospital not knowing how my life would be changing as a first time parent, and the thrill and delight we experienced then as new parents has not quite subsided all these years later. He has always made us very proud and we know this will continue as he goes through adulthood.

Gavin, Luke and I went off to Kingston to buy a few things for Luke - he needed a new suit for working during his year abroad - and we were not able to buy that without him being present. Adam is coming home later today and tonight we will have a casual supper out at a pub, but on Friday, once Thomas is also on holiday, we will have a more formal posh family dinner. This will be followed by a party for all his friends in the summer - so a special birthday that is worthy of more than one occasion to celebrate.

I have added some extra of Luke as a baby - he was born 3 weeks premature and therefore was very tiny, but I soon managed to fatten him up into the healthy, chubby baby in the photo!
