Lonely penguin

Not the best nights sleep I have ever had on the ice but it wasn’t too bad. Woke up in the night when the snow / glacier gave way as you could hear the carving. It also woke up the whale in the bay. The stars were out all night though. Had to leave the island and go back to the ship around 5am. Decided not to do the first dive so went on shore. The ship was moved once we got on board to Paradise Cove. While the others went for a walk we stayed at the landing point with a couple of penguins. A fir seal came out to join us who wasn’t very happy we were there and chased us around the beach. Managed to get a dive on a wall in the afternoon, which was very nice. Lots of soft coral and limpets again. Afterwards we had a landing at Brown base, an Argentinian base. Nice to have a walk around and see how things are laid out. Lots of Gentoo penguins around as well. Ship moved to our next location once we were all back on board. Lots of icebergs around including some with seals on them.
