Barons Haugh Reserve

This morning, on our way to visit MaggieD's Mum, we nipped in for a quick visit to Baron's Haugh. Not quite so many birds about as on our last visit but we heard the water rail and I spotted this heron on the water.
Later this afternoon we visited Culross for a walk with Rona. While having a look at the jetty, I saw a notice warning of high winds. (See today's extra) Be assured, on a really windy day, with a high tide, absolutely nothing would entice me onto that rickety looking jetty!
