All ready for the party.

The birthday boy decided that he wanted a family gathering for his birthday plus one couple who are very close friends. This is the table all set and ready to go for the party. We had a really lovely evening with a yummy beef roast. As always there was much laughter and fun interspersed with copious quantities of red wine!

I managed to head for bed about midnight but a the birthday boy stayed up a bit longer to discuss affairs of state!
