Flower Friday...With a Bonus

I haven't played Flower Friday for a while, so I headed to the local botanical garden. It's usually good for a couple of lizards, too...but they were in hiding today.

I wish I knew what kind of flowers these are, but I think the butterfly is a black swallowtail. Please correct me if I am wrong.

We went to a condo community St. Patrick's Day potluck dinner tonight, and I made fried chicken. (I just don't like corned beef OR cabbage.) It was nice, and then we played a dice game (with quarters) called LEFT, RIGHT, CENTER. Lisa and I both lost $ 2.25.

I think the blue of the flowers must rub off on the bottom of the butterfly's wings. ;0)
