Bakewell

A trip to the Peak District would not be the same without calling into the Bakewell Pudding Shop. Made even better by sampling their wares in the cafe upstairs. Richard was deciding which pudding he would road test for tonight's meal.

On the way we stopped off at Magpie Mine which was surprisingly still has much of the original buildings and winding gear for this former lead mine in tact.

The weather today was in contrast to yesterday overcast and with a biting cold breeze. So not disappointed to be heading home.
