Peak District Sunshine
A glorious day as we decided on a circular walk from the hostel. What a delightful walk down a tributary of the Dove to join the River Dove and then back along Wolfscote Dale back to Hartington.
The scenery constantly changed with something to catch the eye around every corner. This typical limestone scene greeted us as we emerged from the valley and returned to Hartington.
We the squeezed in a trip to Stanton Moor to see the Nine Ladies stone circle. Allegedly this represents nine ladies who were turned to stone for dancing on a Sunday!
