First Redpoll?

This is the first Redpoll I've seen (well, I think it's a Redpoll, but perhaps someone out there can let me know whether that's true). It was on the feeders at Sculthorpe Moor and this was taken from the nearby hide. 

G and I spoke to the volunteer who came out to collect the injured Barn Owl yesterday. She's also a volunteer with the RSPCA and she took it to the RSPCA hospital. There were no obvious broken bones or injuries, but it was severely malnourished (evidently the young owls born last year can struggle to feed themselves over the first Winter and can also be bullied by other owls in the area). They were leaving it to settle in overnight and hoped to x-ray it today.
