Favourite day (one of)

It was the final judging panel for the Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards today - always a highlight and 2017 didn't disappoint.

What incredible young people there are out there across Scotland - every single day caring for others, fighting injustice and showing compassion and generosity in the face of challenges that would cause many to falter. They give me such hope. I can't wait to meet them all on the night.

The judging is always such a tough task though - far too difficult to choose - but this awesome group made it a fulfilling, thoughtful and fun job. This was us attempting to get ourselves into some sort of order for the Sunday Mail photographer!
