Best day of the year...

...well, one of them anyway...definitely top three!

It was the final Judging Panel for the Young Scot Awards 2016 today - and my 11th year doing so. As wonderful as ever, the quality of the entries and the inspirational young people just leaving us all feel so humbled, but also so privileged to be part of sharing their stories.

This is Ryan (our Judging Panel Chair) and Elise - who were so thoughtful, compassionate and generous in carrying out their "judgely duties"!

I ended the day giving a speech about young women and leadership/equalities in Scotland. An interesting point for reflection given what I'd been doing earlier in the day.
