White Rose.

Well, it was either this rose or a cauliflower.

The reason why I was going to blip a cauliflower was because a few weeks ago cauliflowers were selling at $10 each!!

Because, apparently they are classed as a super food (who knew), due to all these cooking shows.

Cooking shows have a lot to answer for, cheap cuts of meat have now become popular, and so they have gone up in price.

Lamb shanks, pork belly and beef cheeks (the latter we used to feed to our dog), are now over priced due to their popularity on shows like Master Chef.

Anyway, back to the cauliflower.  Australians just wont buy food when it's too expensive, so no-one bought the $10 cauliflowers.

So guess what, a whole cauliflower was $2 today.  People power wins every time. 

It's been raining, our grass is now green again.
