Just a Tad on the Top
I am strong...I am invincible...I am Woman...Er well actually I am a girl dog. I personally hate the "B" word when referring to dogs and feel girl just sounds a whole lot better but referring to the above ...YES I AM!
Walking with the B team (Not to be confused with the other B word mentioned above) today and we did the Hawea Back Road. This is a picturesque little gravel road that runs along the back of the valley and as today's shot was captured before we even started there was no need for a Blip agreement with granny (acyclinggranny). We started the walk where the road starts and continued on to The Nook Rd Nursery which is no longer there. Right. So we went to somewhere that wasn't. Right. And when we got there we thought we better ask permission to be there and that was freely given so we had lunch at somewhere that wasn't too. Luckily The Boss's lunch was. And then we walked back and then IT happened.
I am strong...I am invincible...I am....Yeh...Well there we all were walking along the road and as we approached a branch in the road. No not a bit of tree but a bit of road that left the other bit of road and went somewhere else. Ahh right. Well as we approached this a herd of cows...
(have you ever heard of cows? Don't believe all you hear "cos there is bound to be some Bull in there somewhere)
were all attracted to the sight of ME and all clustered at the fence. The Boss says that they clustered because they heard the Farmers tractor coming with grub but I dispute that. Well there they all were clustering at the fence and looking downright threatening so I jumped towards them (restricted 'Cos I was still attached to The Boss)
And they only looked up. This was not going well I thought so I BARKED...AND the whole herd of several hundred 50 cows OK 20 of them all together as one jumped back about a metre. WOW I thought and I was just getting throat pressure up when The Boss jerked my lead and said "That's enough of that" and everyone cheered laughed.
So
I am strong...I am invincible...I am TUSSOCK!!
OH yes the picture. Well it snowed a tiny tensy bit last night and there it is on Mt Roy, catching the sun. The picture was taken from the main road into town with a tele lens hence the light pole on the right. Oh and it was a bit of a grotty day too.
