Ducks sheltering from the Wind!

40 mph Westerly wind with gusts of 46 mph according to the Met Office at 14.00 hrs. More like 70 mph gale according to one of the Nature Reserve Rangers  -  and I agreed with her. These ducks knew how to deal with it though  -  keep your head down and let it ride over you!  I found my first primroses today just outside the Reserve Visitor Centre  -   most of them were dancing about in the wind, but the ones in my Extra were protected by undergrowth and so I got a good shot of them.
