Spring plumage

A drizzly morning which is typical when I have to don my sandals to go for a pedicure!

When I got home the weather had brightened and the peacock was sitting on our patio table outside the kitchen window.
I went out to get a closer shot but he was off. You can see how well his tail feathers have now grown even though he isn't displaying. We've heard the occasional cry lately too, no doubt there will be more of that!

Behind him you can see our lovely blue pot full of spring blooms. The three tulips that could be seen in last Wednesday's blip are now 9 and a short while after this was taken started opening in the sun.

Going to have ago at the sourdough now!
