Murky toad

Must get a polarizing filter. The pond is still seeing much toad and newt spring activity. The water is, believe it or not, the clearest it's been in a very long time but you wouldn't think so from this murky picture. Lots of toad spawn already and, judging from the continuing high level of  toad friendliness being shown, there will be more to come.

What glorious weather today, yay! Chores this morning. Garden this afternoon. Made a long list of tasks which needed to be tackled then got going outside and got immediately sidetracked into doing lots of other things apart from the ones on the list. Always seems to be the way of things but it'll all need doing in the end.
