Coffee & cake & coffeecake

Popped into town this afternoon -as much to wake myself up after two night shifts as anything else- and, after wandering about for a bit I treated Laura to a coffee peppermint tea and a slice of cheesecake.

I do know how to treat a lady. It was a double chocolate cheesecake...

Obviously I decided to go for a slice of cake too and plumped for the tiramisu cake, in the foreground, with my cappuccino mainly because I was intrigued as how you turn tiramisu into a cake.
Apparently you do it by taking out all the coffee.

Oh and thanks to Rich for making my night shift a bit surreal with a phone call rendition of Mysterious Girl!!!
