Overlooking Bough Beech........

...from Emmetts Gardens on the way home today. 

I was hoping for a show of daffodils to match the bluebells later in the year so was a little disappointed but there were certainly plenty growing and still not in full flower so lots of promise. 

Traffic to Tunbridge Wells this morning was HEAVY with ongoing roadworks towards Pembury. The diversion taken didn't really help! The roast chicken dinner ready and waiting was very welcome though.

Decided there wasn't enough of the day left to do what we'd hoped so took the scenic route home, stopping at Emmetts just before closing. 

Now to do some ironing.......!

My extra is the Club Peloton cyclists and M is in there somewhere....and three days in he's doing okay apparently. The race can be followed on clubpeloton.org......useful!
