Merino museum
We have been involved in a bit of a weather bomb here. Torrential rain all over the top of the north island which has been dry for so long that now that the rain is come it is just running off the surface and not soaking in causing so many floods.
We have left Taupo and have moved over to Hamilton to stay with a cousin for the night before heading north. We stopped at a small town called Tirau (Teerow) on the way where l spotted this "Merino" museum, a cathedral to all things to do with merino sheep. This is a photo of that museum which is made entirely out of corrugated iron. I especially liked the look in the eye of the merino ram!
