Tate Blipmeet

We travelled to London by train this morning. We met Black Tulip for coffee and croissant at Euston. She then dashed off to meet a friend and we made our way slowly to a pub near Tate Britain where we met other blippers for lunch. Most of us had tickets for the Hockney exhibition in the Tate so that was our next stop.

I loved the Hockneys. I know many of the works from TV, magazines and books but there's nothing like seeing them for real.

I often seem to find that however much I enjoy the art works It's the building they're housed in that grabs most of my attention. This was the case today. I couldn't help trying to capture some of the corridors, doorways and staircases of Tate Britain. My main shows one of the staircases.

My extras are (i) another staircase and (ii) Hildasrose, the best blipmeet organiser in blipland. Thank you once again Rose. See you soon at the Camera Show blipmeet.
