Scalloped

Back to winter this morning, with lots of fluffy white flakes sifting down from above. It's the kind of slightly wet snow that sticks to all the tree limbs, and outlines everything so beautifully.

I thought it was very creative and festive of the pool cover to drape itself with this white blanket, and to add such a pretty scallop pattern around its edges!

Extra shows an archaeological find from yesterday.  Buried deep inside an old desk in the front hall, I found this ancient Sylvania flash strip -- I think it was for an old Instamatic camera -- and it still has two good bulbs!  Lol!
